I’m still superhyper!! I have never been a brand geek, not been one who only care about the expensive luxurious brands, I have not even been looking at expensive brands. But when it comes to shoes, some brands gets my knees week, haha. Brands like Manolo Blahniks, Jimmy Choo, Marc Jacobs and Miu miu..! :D And now… I’VE GOT MYSELF SOME FREAKING JIMMY CHOOS! :D:D:D:D:D
I don’t know how many of you know, but H&M and Jimmy Choo had a collaboration with shoes, clothes, handbags, purses and other accessories. On the 14th of November, I stood in line outside H&M all night from 2 am-10 am, and got to start shopping at 10:15 am! It was the first night that it snowed (not a lot though), so you could understand that it was cold! (not as cold as I imagined it would be though) Anyways, me and my friend Rebecca went to Uppsala, a town about 20 min from my town, at 1.30am and got to the store at 2.10am. We were so stressed and anxious, cause we thought that there would already be a huge line and that we would be like the 100th person to shop or something (there were only a limited amount of items). But when we turned to corner to the H&M - there wasn’t a soul there..! We were so weirded out by that that we started laughing. We had expected at least 50 people to stand in line already. After some of the shock has settled, we put two beach chairs up outside the store. The next person arrived at 3am.. and then the rest started to drop in around 5-ish. During the night however, people going home from the clubs stopped by us asking us what we were doing. I know they all thought that we were crazy, but they were all really nice and talked to us for a while each.
As the time got closer and closer to 10am, more people showed up and our patience was declining. But we were first in line, and so proud of that! More special than just being there! ;] When the store personal came out, they hugged us (only me and Rebecca) and said congratulations and gave us our wristbands - bright neon green. The line was divided into different color sections, about 20 people in each section and the first one was of course us - the bright neon green one. At 10 am, they opened the store and I ran down the escalator to where I knew they had sectioned of an area where they kept all the Jimmy Choo bags, shoes and jewelry and came first in line there too. Rebecca also wanted a dress, which was on the first floor so she grabbed that and then ran down too, ending up about 15 people behind me in line or so, which did not really matter.

At 10.15, they allowed us to walk in to the area.. or well.. not walk - RUN!! I almost got pushed over by eager crazy women, all pushing to get to what they want. It’s not like I moved in a slow pace, but I was not as crazy as everyone els! I knew exactly what I wanted and I had spotted where they where lying in the about 6x4m restricted area. I however encountered a problem; I had put on stockings under my jeans because it was so cold outside, and I had nowhere to go change and take them off before the store opened, and I had to try on the shoes I wanted!! So I took of my shoes, took my keys, punched a whole in the foot of the stockings and ripped them open! Haha. I also took two pairs of shoes, size 38 and 39. I thought I put on the 38’s first, and they were to big! By this time, one of the girls who worked there had asked if I wanted help (they were all really nice and asked everyone all the time how things was going), and she helped me find and try on a size 37. They were really tight but she said since the shoes were in leather they might fit me later on. Now another store clerk yelled out that our group had to wrap up (you only got 10 min in that restricted area) and two girls now told me to go for the 37. I said okay and started rushing to put on my own shoes, at the same time as grabbing two bracelets and putting them in the basket. As the girl was putting the shoes back in the boxes she noticed that I had tried on the 39’s first, and told me then to take the 38’s, which I had never tried on! I took the chance, and didn’t try them on until I got home - but luckily they fit me perfectly!

I bought one pair of shoes, a big bag, a clutch (smaller purse) and two bracelets. When I got home I could not stop thinking about the dress that Rebecca had bought and decide to look for it on a Swedish website called Tradera (it’s like Ebay). I found it there for a good price and bought it. :] I am very happy with my purchases (LOVE them.) and I have used everything except the dress.
Best experience fashion-wise! I don’t regret spending the time in the cold or the money at all! I <3 H&M & Jimmy Choo!!!
More Pictures!(More pictures will come when I find them! :P)
